Research plan

For my research I will be conducting primary and secondary research. For the primary research I will conduct surveys, interviews and questionnaires asking people what there views are on sci-fi thriller/ adventure films, if they like my ideas and what I can do to improve the idea. For secondary research I will read existing sci-fi thriller/ adventure screenplays and look at the writing techniques. I will read books with a similar storyline and look at websites with other people’s views.

Who/what am I going to research?

Primary

-Going to ask friends/family about what they think of my story, how can I improve it to get more people intrigued and what do they think the target audience should be.

-I am going to use the research method questionnaire.

Secondary

I am going to look at books that have the same storyline so I get a better idea of the effect I want to create.

I will watch films that have the same /similar storyline.

Going to look at screenplays of a similar genre and imitate the writing style for when I write my screenplay.

I am going to see what the target audience for the previous films with a similar storyline were.

I am going to look at existing reviews on websites.
